November 26, 2007Adwords Content Network and Resale Rights Advertising
I’ve tried my hand at advertising some of the resale rights products from this website using Google Adwords content network… I’m very disappointed, to say the least.
What I am seeing is that most (all) of the visitors are staying around 3-6 seconds according to my statistics; this isn’t even giving the chance for the page to load completely for some users. What I am thinking is that maybe some of (most of) these clicks are fraudulent, but maybe it’s just the website - I dunno. I know that in the past I have been very disappointed with the conversion rates of Google’s content network; though I can spend significantly less for the exposure - bottom line even if I am only paying $0.04 per click instead of $0.30 per click; a 0% conversion rate for those clicks still isn’t worth anything.
I would be interested in hearing from other resell rights vendors who use Google’s content network to advertise their websites & see how they fare on this issue. Mainly I am looking to see if they are noticing the same thing that I am, a 100% bounce rate where visitors stay on the website for less than 5 seconds.
Any input or insight is welcomed.
